Northland Power has grown from a Canadian family company into a global developer of clean and green power facilities. It now owns more than $12 billion of high quality power generating assets.

Our brief from Northland started out as an exercise to create a new corporate logo but grew into a much wider brand development project. We conducted a top down analysis of the market and competitors to identify how to make the business stand out with distinct values and a carefully evolved identity that worked effectively with all its international partners.

We created a set of corporate guidelines that could be applied to their operations globally in all their communications. It’s all in the detail. Our reference ‘branding book’ provided consistent identity guidelines for visual identity, tone of voice, illustration and use of graphics across all their markets and channels.
